I started The Walk for PNH to raise awareness for the rare disease my dad battled, and this year marks a very special milestone — the 20th anniversary of The Walk for PNH.
For two decades, the Walk has brought the PNH community together to raise awareness and fund patient grants, support programs, education, and critical research. On April 1, 2006, we held the very first Walk for PNH in Riverview, Florida, with 25 walkers raising $5,500. Later that same year, we brought the Walk to New York City and raised an incredible $55,000.
Today, The Walk for PNH has grown into the largest fundraiser in the United States dedicated to PNH research and patient support. Even more inspiring, awareness of PNH has expanded into medical schools and classrooms around the world.
Make a difference
Please click here to make a donation. Every dollar raised helps continue the mission I started 20 years ago in honor of my dad — supporting PNH patients, strengthening PNH-focused programs, advancing research and education, and ensuring this Walk continues for years to come.
Whether you’ve walked with us since the beginning or are supporting us for the first time, your contribution truly makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping make this anniversary year one to remember.
The Walk for PNH remains the largest fundraiser dedicated to PNH research and patient support programs. Every dollar donated helps someone fighting this devastating disease. Every conversation helps raise awareness and understanding.
Rare diseases often remain unseen and underserved — but together, we can continue bringing PNH out of the shadows.
